Syllabus:- CLAT exam consists of 5 sections English, General Knowledge, Elementary mathematics, Legal aptitude and logical reasoning.
English:- Exam which also contains comprehension consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each. Candidates are to prepare basic grammar topics such as synonyms and antonyms, idioms and phrases but also have to prepare foreign words and phrases.
General Knowledge:- Section consists of 50 questions of 1 mark each. and questions are related to current affairs, books, authors, geographical knowledge and history.
Elementary Mathematics:-Section consists of 20 questions of one mark each and the questions are of basic numerical level.
Legal Aptitude:-Section consists of 50 questions or 1 mark each.
Logical Reasoning:-Section consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each.
For Postgraduate Programme
Essential Qualification:- Candidate should have passed LL.B. with 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent degree examination which is relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates. Final year appearing students are also eligible for the exam.
Syllabus:-CLAT exam will consist of 3 parts Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other Law Subjects. All of which will consist 50 questions of 1 mark each. The question paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions. Thus the paper will consist of total 150 marks and the duration of 2 hours. Each correct answer will be awarded with one mark. The candidate must note that for every objective type question (0.25 marks) to every wrong answer will be deducted.
