The Online Applications (Part I and II) can be filled from 2nd January 2016 to 29th January 2016 till 11.59 p.m.
Last date for Payment of fee through Offline: 28th January 2016 by 23.59 hrs.
Last date for Payment of Fee through Online: 29th January 2016 by 23.59 hrs.
Availability of e-Admit Cards: 3 Weeks before the commencement of Exam
Last date for submission of application: 29th January 2016
Date of NDA (I) Examination: 17th April 2016
Written Exam Results will be declared in: July-August 2016
INAC commencing from: 02nd January 2017 (Tentative)
SSB Interview for the candidates qualified in Written Exam will be held during: July 2016 to Sept-Oct 2016

An Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 137th Course and for the 99th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02nd January 2017

The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.

Indian Navy:- 

Defence Study Judged the Indian Navy has its headquarters in New Delhi. The Navy is headed by the Chief of the Naval Staff, who is assisted by four Principal Staff Officers, Namely Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff, Chief of Personnel and Chief of Material. The Indian Navy has three commands. They are Western, Eastern and Southern with their headquarters at Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Kochi respectively. The Western and Eastern Commands are the operational Commands while the Southern Commands is responsible for training.

The navy has two fleets, the Western and the Eastern. These fleets consist of ships and aircraft. The Indian Navy is a three-dimensional force, submarines, aircraft carrier, guided missile destroyers, frigates and corvettes make up the Indian Navy inventory. The Coast Guard makes up a formidable force that guard against alien naval intrusion into Indian territorial waters. There are three Coast Guard regions: Western, Eastern and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Conditions of Eligibility:-
Age Limit, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 1997 and not later than 01st July 2000 are eligible

Educational Qualifications:-
Army Wing of National Defence Academy:  12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university.

Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:  12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them.

They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent exam by the prescribed date and no request for extending this date will be entertained on the grounds of late conduct of Board/University Examination, delay in declaration of results or any other ground whatsoever.
